Nestled at an altitude of 3,200 meters, this pristine lake is surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks and lush green hills, offering breathtaking views year-round. The lake’s surroundings transform with the seasons, from a snowy wonderland in winter to a vibrant display of alpine flowers in other months.

The serene forests of blue pine, black juniper, oak, cypress, and rhododendron add to the trek’s scenic charm.

Route Description

The Rara Lake Trek 16 Days begins in Kathmandu with a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, setting the stage for an incredible journey. You’ll hike through the beautiful Sinja Valley, eventually reaching the magnificent Rara Lake.

This 16-day trek includes a mix of teahouses and private homestays, providing a cultural touch and authentic experience.
